NCSSM breaks ground in Morganton

Leaders throughout North Carolina broke ground on Friday, June 21, at the site of new campus of the North Carolina School for Science and Mathematics (NCSSM) in Morganton. The school is scheduled to open in August 2021 and will bring 300 students from across the state to its residential campus. Use the button below for full coverage by EdNC. Research on Scalable OST STEM Programs

The Overdeck Family Foundation has released a call for Letters of Interest from researchers to determine which out-of-school (OST) STEM programs are scaling and why. Those interested can use the link below to get more information. Deadline is July 17.

World Youth Skills Day

In 2014, the United Nations declared July 15 as World Youth Skills Day. You can participate in social media conversations using hashtag #wysd2019 on World Skills Day so we can see all your great activities and events. STEM Mentoring + Making Awards

US2020 has announced the 4th annual STEM Mentoring + Making Awards to be held Aug. 7 at the University of Cincinnati. The award ceremony will be held in conjunction with US2020’s bi-annual network event. Applications are now open for this year's award categories through June 1. Learn more.
