Countdown to Deadline

BWF CASMT grant applications due next month




The Career Award for Science and Mathematics Teachers is a five-year award available to outstanding science and/or mathematics teachers in North Carolina public schools. As of today, there are only 32 days remaining before the application deadline. Get more information here. CASMT funding provides $175,000 during the grant period ($35,000 per year) to eligible teachers who have demonstrated knowledge of science and/or mathematics content and have outstanding performance records in educating children. The Burroughs Wellcome Fund (BWF) will support up to six CASMT awards with annual installments as noted above. Electronic applications only will be accepted until Sept. 24. It's back to school time!
