Who's ready to Spring into STEM for 2018?

In less than a month, it will be spring; bringing with it a sense of renewal, warmer weather, more daylight hours, and excitement about upcoming graduation ceremonies and events as well as welcoming many new members into the workforce. In this issue we'll highlight some of the awesome things you are doing in North Carolina to help us "Spring into STEM" this year. First, a quick reminder that applications for the 2018 Student STEM Enrichment Program (SSEP) grant awards are due by April 18. Also coming up in April is the 8th Annual NC Science Festival. Visit this website to share and/or find an event near you. The 2018 NC Science & Engineering Fair is next month at NC State University, and NC TIES kicks off next week. Finally, the STEM Industry Summit is tomorrow (Friday) in RTP. These are just a sample of some of the many great educational events and opportunities coming up in North Carolina. If you know of others, please get in touch. Enjoy your e-Update. Tweet us @NCSTEM with suggestions, feedback or thoughts about this issue or future ones.
