Tien Bui Memorial Scholarship

This non-renewable scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors who attended Forsyth County High School and who plan to attend N.C. State’s College of Engineering.

Deadline: April 1, 2017

Maximum award: $1,000

Requirements: Minimum weighted average 3.5 with challenging courses and high scores on SAT or ACT

Sam L. Brooke, Sr. Scholarship

This renewable scholarship is given to graduating high school seniors from the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County school systems who plan to major in mathematics.

Deadline: April 1, 2017

Maximum award: $1,500

Requirements: Demonstrated excellence in math courses and grades, show potential to pursue a career in mathematics and rank in the top 15% of class

Claude B. Hart Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is renewable for graduating high school students from Elkin high school who plan to major in mathematics and/or engineering.

Deadline: April 1, 2017

Maximum award: $1,000

Requirements: Demonstrate excellence in academics and leadership and participate in the community and school service
